After receiving his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology Information Retrieval Lab in 2006, Eric Jensen co-founded Summize which was later acquired by Twitter. Dr. Ophir Frieder advised his thesis on repeatable evaluation of web search effectiveness, query log analysis and classification, and parallel document clustering algorithms.
