CS595, Fall, 2006: Topics in Distributed Information Systems

The CS595 class will be split into two sections:

Data Clustering and Physical Organization

This section takes place on Tuesdays in SB233, from 1030-12. We will study issues of clustering, query processing, physical data organization. Workload consists of reading papers and a report.

Peer to Peer Information Systems

This section takes place on Wednesdays in SB233, from 1030-12. We will study issues of related to data search and placement in P2P systems. Workload consists of reading papers and a report.

All interested students are invited to join either or both.
