CS595, Spring, 2007: Educational Projects
Instructor: Wai Gen Yee
Location: SB204
Time: T, Th, 3:15-4:30
The goal of this course is to bring together students who are interested in building useful systems... for credit. Students taking this course are required to submit a project proposal (or choose from a list of my own), create a work plan, and then execute the plan. Students will be judged on their teamwork and the quality of their final product.
This course is meant to give students the opportunity to tie together all of their computer science training in a structured way. Non-computer science students who have interesting projects are also encouraged to register and propose their ideas.
NOTE: Please let me know during the fall semester if you are interested in taking the course. The success of this course relies on active, enthusiastic students.
Educational Goals
Students will learn/experience the following:
- Project Management Skills
- Communication Skills
